አዲስ አበባ፣ ሚያዚያ 22፣ 2012 ኢትዮጵያ ተ.መ.ድ ኮቪድ-19ን ለመግታት የጀመረውን ኢኒሺየቲቭ እንደምትደግፍ ፕሬዚዳንት ሳህለወርቅ ዘውዴ ገለጹ:: የተባበሩት መንግስታት ባለአደራ ፈንድ ለኮቪድ 19 ምላሽ ለመስጠት የጀመረውን “Rise for All” ኢኒሺየቲቭ ኢትዮጵያ መቀላቀሏን ፕሬዚዳንቷ ትናንት አስታውቀዋል።በተመድ ምክትል ዋና ጸሃፊ አሚና መሃመድ ይፋ የሆነው ፕሮጀክት የዓለም ሴት መሪዎች ወረርሽኙ ያስከተለውን ማህበራዊና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ጉዳት ለመግታት የሚረዳ መፍትሄ ለማበጀት ህብረታቸውን፣ ጥረታቸውንና ሃብታቸውን በማቀናጀትና በማንቀሳቀስ እንዲሰሩ ጥሪ አቅርቧል።ከፕሬዚዳንት ሳህለወርቅ በተጨማሪ የኖርዌይ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ኢርና ሶልበርግና የባርባዶስ አቻቸው ሚያ ሞትሊ የተ.መ.ድ ኤክስኪዩቲቭ ዳይሬክተሮች ፕሮጀክቱን ለመደገፍ የሚያግዝ የቪዲዮ ውይይት አድርገዋል። “ኮቪድ19 ዓለም አቀፍ ቀውስ መሆኑን ተከትሎ ምላሽ ለመስጠት መዘግየት ሞትን መጥት ነው፤ ሁላችንም ተመሳሳይ ጠላትን የተጋፈጥን በመሆናችን ሰብዓዊ አቅማችንን አንድ ላይ በማስተባበር ለውጤት መሰለፍ አለብን” ብለዋል ፕሬዚዳንት ሳህለወርቅ። “ቫይረሱን በተናጠል ወይም በአንድ አገር ጥረት ብቻ መግታት ስለማይቻል ተመድ ጋራ ትብብር ያቀረበውን ጥሪ እደግፋለሁ” ብለዋል። የፈንዱ ግብ በመጀመሪያዎቹ ዘጠኝ ወራት 1 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ማሰባሰብ ሲሆን በሁለት አመታት ውስጥ ደግሞ ሁለት ቢሊዮን ዶላር ለማሰባሰብ ያለመ ነው።በዚህም ዝቅተኛና መካከለኛ ገቢ ያላቸውን አገሮች፣ ህፃናትን፣ ሴቶችንና ለአደጋ የተጋለጡ የማህበረሰብ ክፍሎችን ለመደገፍ አቅጣጫ ተይዟል።
